ReplyDeleteInteresting move! It is good that these museums and cultural institutions have taken the initiative to assert their value and lobby together for their necessary development. Too often have the role and contributions of these institutions been much undervalued.
It is also somewhat interesting to note that visitorship increases dramatically when admission fees are waived though one can't help but wonder at the effectiveness of measuring the impact of the role of museums by the number of people through their doors.
Will be interesting to take note of the outcome of their joint request for funds.
